Fraud Warning: It has come to our attention that various international organizations or individuals have been offering false employment opportunities at Aecon Group Inc. These individuals will offer to fast track Canadian working visa applications in exchange for a payment. Such offers are fraudulent and intended to steal from the victims.

Aecon Group Inc. employment policies and processes in Canada involve personal interviews, and candidates who seek employment with us are never required to pay us any sum of money. To do so would be contrary to our business conduct guidelines and ethical practices. We take this matter extremely seriously and are working with the appropriate legal authorities to shut down such fraudulent schemes. Read more here

Employee's Choice

At Aecon, building the things that matter doesn’t always involve blueprints or a construction site. Sometimes it’s as simple as supporting the values and causes that are important to our employees. Aecon’s employee-driven charitable giving program, Employee’s Choice, supports employees in their philanthropic endeavours.  Aecon has helped employees give to causes as diverse as the MS Society of Canada, the Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre in Toronto, Fondation du centre hospitalier in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, the Terwillegar Schools Need a Playground Project in Edmonton, the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers, and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, among many others.

The Employee’s Choice program is designed to give employees a direct hand in deciding how and where Aecon’s community dollars are spent. Every employee at Aecon, who is involved with a charity, is eligible to be a part of the Employee’s Choice program. Aecon matches every dollar raised, so that employees can make a larger overall contribution to their charity of choice. This is Aecon’s way of not only supporting the communities around us, but showing appreciation and encouragement for our employees who continue to “build things that matter “away from the workplace.
