John M. Beck Scholarship

In January 2011, Aecon further demonstrated its core value of a people-focused learning culture with the launch of the John M. Beck scholarship program.

Aecon will award a scholarship each year to 10 dependants of full-time, permanent Aecon employees who are embarking on a post-secondary education.

The scholarships will provide each of the selected young people with up to $10,000 ($2,500 per year for up to four years of study), and will be awarded to students who are graduating high school and enrolling in a university, college or technical school in Canada or the United States.

Post-secondary education isn’t merely classes and schedules but also a chance to meet new people, share new experiences and forge future paths.  At Aecon, their future is our future.
