Fraud Warning: It has come to our attention that various international organizations or individuals have been offering false employment opportunities at Aecon Group Inc. These individuals will offer to fast track Canadian working visa applications in exchange for a payment. Such offers are fraudulent and intended to steal from the victims.

Aecon Group Inc. employment policies and processes in Canada involve personal interviews, and candidates who seek employment with us are never required to pay us any sum of money. To do so would be contrary to our business conduct guidelines and ethical practices. Safety First

District Energy / Cooling Networks

Aecon works closely with our clients to develop deep lake cooling systems and district steam heating systems that provide green solutions to major building complexes in some of Canada’s largest cities.

Aecon has been building district energy networks for nearly 10 years, often under the most challenging conditions. Working deep under densely-populated urban environments requires all the skills of an experienced utility contractor. Aecon brings to the job the kind of safety track record and expertise required to work in these conditions, while protecting the integrity of the other utility networks over, under and around which we work.

Over the years, our diligence has been duly rewarded in the level of trust we consistently garner from our clients. Notable among our successes has been the commitment of a long-term formal strategic alliance with a key client, and the opportunity to delve into innovative projects, like the district heating system Aecon delivered for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Village, where we utilized waste heat from sewer gas for significantly-reduced green house gas emissions.
