Aecon-Golden Mile is an innovative joint venture to expand economic opportunities for residents of the Greater Golden Mile area in Toronto that are facing barriers to the labour market.

Aecon-Golden Mile (A-GM) is a partnership between Aecon and the Centre for Inclusive Economic Opportunity (CIEO). A-GM is majority-owned by CIEO (51%) and eventually will be operated and staffed by local residents. A-GM strives to be a first-choice employer and contractor for the redevelopment of the Golden Mile area. Clients

Aecon-Golden Mile (A-GM) has recently been identified as a ‘preferred vendor’ in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kilmer Group for Hydrovac services. Kilmer Group is developing purpose-built rental projects in the West Don Lands as part of a developer consortium that includes Dream Unlimited and Tricon Residential.
