We’ve been building Quebec for over 70 years. Our strong track record of success, seasoned leaders, and Aecon’s diverse expertise brings our clients the Aecon advantage.

Aecon’s roots in Quebec run deep. Starting out in the 1950s as a family prefab concrete business in Montreal, Aecon has become the Canadian leader in construction and infrastructure development and remains a major player in the Quebec market.

Aecon is a proud partner for key clients, bringing extensive heavy civil expertise. Aecon has also brought the expertise and know-how to manage projects safely and successfully in Quebec across several other business areas.

Aecon has been successfully delivering projects over the past several decades spanning multiple sectors including roads, highways, bridges, transit networks, hydroelectric dams, energy, industrial plants, refineries, and more.

A key partner in the transformative Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) Montréal light rail project, Aecon employees have also played key roles on many reputable projects across Canada. From the Lower Mattagami River and New Post Creek Generating Station (GS) projects in Northern Ontario, and the Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) project in the Greater Toronto Area – to the Waneta GS, John Hart GS and Site C projects in British Columbia – Aecon has been there, building the infrastructure that connects communities nationwide.

At Aecon, we carry out projects that promote sustainability. Across Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, we focus on renewable energy production projects, such as hydroelectricity and wind power.
