Alistair MacCallum is Senior Vice President, Finance, and is responsible for operational finance, corporate finance and shared services, including the treasury, tax, internal audit, consolidated internal and external reporting, insurance, procurement, consolidated planning and forecasting functions, as well as related process improvements, team development and change management.
Alastair comes to Aecon with 20 years of finance and management experience, specializing in heavy industry. For the past 10 years, Alistair has worked with Catalyst Paper, a publicly traded pulp and paper company located in Vancouver, B.C. Most recently, Alistair held the position of Vice President, Treasurer and Controller. Prior to joining Catalyst Paper, he worked as a strategy and process improvement consultant for IBM/PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Alastair is a Certified General Accountant and received his Bachelor of Arts, History degree from the University of British Columbia and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
