SA Connects, a joint venture between Aecon and Southland Holdings Inc. is installing 210 miles of middle-mile broadband network and repeater hubs in California. SA Connects was selected for preconstruction services under the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) method which enables SA Connects to provide design and planning services.
The project will deliver broadband to unserved and under-served communities, creating affordable, open-access broadband infrastructure, enabling network connectivity and equitable high-speed service. Aecon is proud to play a role in delivering this project for residents in California.
