Marty Harris is Executive Vice President, Civil. He has executive oversight for all of Aecon’s Civil operations in North America and the Caribbean market. Over the span of his 30-year career, Marty has held numerous positions with increased responsibility in highway and heavy civil construction including quality control, engineering and project management prior to moving into estimating, general management and executive management.
Marty received his Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario in 1996, and is a licensed engineer in Ontario and New Brunswick. He is an Executive Board member for the Canadian Construction Association, where he also sits as the Chair of the Civil National Advisory Committee, and the Heavy Civil Association of Toronto, and is also a previous Board member of the Ontario Road Builders Association, Ontario General Contractors Association and Nova Scotia Road Builders.
