Highway 401 Expansion

Mississauga to Milton, Ontario

West Corridor Constructors, selected by Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) to design, build and finance the project, is a consortium comprised of Aecon (50%), Parsons (30%) and Amico (20%). A key commuter and economic corridor, the Highway 401 expansion project includes an 18-kilometre reconstruction and widening of the Highway 401 in the western part of the GTA, from the Credit River in Mississauga to Regional Road 25 in Milton.

  • Design and construction of the project will generate employment opportunities and produce significant benefits for commuters
  • WCC estimates the majority of the labour will come from the Greater Toronto Area. There will be approximately 200 workers on-site at the peak of construction.

F.G. Gardiner Expressway Rehabilitation Project: Section 1

Toronto, Ontario

Section 1 of the Gardiner project includes full superstructure replacement between Cherry Street and Jarvis Street, rehabilitation of three ramps, as well as installation of new street lighting, and a Road Emergency Services Communication Unit (RESCU) system.
