Aecon-Cegerco to renovate Montreal Airport

Toronto, Ontario – March 7, 2005: Aecon Group Inc. (TSX: ARE) today announced that its Quebec Buildings division, Aecon-Cegerco, has begun work on a $12 million general contract to expand and renovate portions of Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (formerly Montreal-Dorval International Airport).

Work will include the renovation of a part of the existing building as well as redevelopment of several areas of the airport, including the former international arrivals area. Aecon-Cegerco will make key structural modifications, perform demolition work and complete all architectural finishes.

Work at the airport is already underway and is expected to be completed by March 2006.
