Aecon is pleased to announce that Thomas Clochard has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective September 2, 2025.

Since joining Aecon in 2019 as Executive Lead & Senior Vice President, Nuclear, Mr. Clochard has progressively expanded his leadership role at Aecon, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Nuclear and Civil. In his new role, Mr. Clochard will focus on enhancing operational and financial performance by working with Aecon’s operational leadership teams across North America and internationally, while also actively growing Aecon’s level of profitable backlog.

Prior to joining Aecon, Mr. Clochard held various leadership roles at Eiffage, including Chief Executive Officer, Canada, as well as progressively senior roles at Vinci. Mr. Clochard holds a Master of Engineering degree from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France and holds three other Masters degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics, Microeconomics and International Relations.
